  • STATUS = Destroyed.
    • Controller was wired incorrectly, causing failure of 4 JFETs, capacitors, and multiple resistors.
    • Joe P. attempted to replace all damaged components, on powering up repaired board, JFETs failed again.
    • Conclusions: More components are damaged than can be seen. Traces may have failed.
    • Possible Solution: Ship back to 4QD for repairs. Costs likely outweigh benefits.
    • Possible Solution: Purchase new controller.
